Offshore and More presents: the UK new single releases from this week exactly 57 years ago! donderdagavond 28 augustus van 20:00-22:00.
Dag allemaal, / Hi everyone, (For English see below)

This coming Thursday, August 28th, from 19:00 till 21:00 UK time, on www.192radio.nl. you can listen to “UK Singles”. From time to time, we present an episode from “UK singles from this week in…….”, a series of over 200 weekly episodes with lots of single A-sides from the years 1966-1969. Only the original single versions are played, almost always mono. These shows are non stop with sometimes an announcement and a jingle. For a list of the songs played please see below. This series is a shared production of Kees Brinkerink and Oldies Project, the voice you will hear at some points is the voice of John Edward, dj at Radio London in 1965 and 1966.
If you have listened a lot to the offshore or similar stations in the above mentioned years, you will recognise many songs, but you’ll probably also hear some gems that you didn’t know yet. Anyway, (re-)experience the atmosphere of the late 60s! This time it’s the episode with new releases in the UK of August 30th, 1968, including future hits and many rare and special singles!
Happy listening!
