 Aanstaande donderdagavond 17 juli van 20:00-22:00 kun je op 192radio in het eerste uur luisteren naar het derde deel van de special over Jim Pewter, de legendarische Amerikaanse dj die veel programma’s maakte over de muziek uit de jaren 50 en vroege jaren 60. Hij was in Europa te horen op de AFN met zijn unieke platenkeuze, die grotendeels bestond uit nummers die je hier zelden of nooit hoorde. Uit ongeveer dezelfde periode volgt In het tweede uur een special over de Hilversumse zenders, ook in de jaren 50 en vroege jaren 60, en over Veronica in de vroege jaren 60.

This Thursday, July 17^th from 19:00 till 21:00, on www.192radio.nl. In the first hour you can listen to part 3 of the special about Jim Pewter, the legendary American dj who made lots of shows with music from the 50s and early 60s. In Europe, he could be heard on the AFN with his unique choice of records, that for the main part consisted of songs you hardly ever heard here, if at all. From about the same period, the second hour continues with a special about the Hilversum stations, also in the 50s and early 60s, and about Radio Veronica in the early 60s.
