Offshore and More presents: the Tunes Project on 192radio! Donderdagavond 17 september augustus van 20:00-22:00.

‘Waar ken ik dat toch van?’ ‘Ik heb het vroeger zo vaak gehoord, maar hoe heet het eigenlijk, en door wie wordt het gespeeld?’

Dat gaat er vaak door je heen als je oude tunes hoort die op diverse radiostations zijn gebruikt. In het jaren 60 Tunes Project gaan Frank van Heerde en Kees Brinkerink de diepte in en halen heel veel tunes boven water. Water, want het gaat in veel gevallen over de zeezenders uit de jaren 60, aangevuld met andere popprogramma’s van o.a. Radio Luxembourg, de Hilversumse zenders en Radio Noordzee vanaf het REM eiland. Ontdek alles over die oude, vaak overbekende tunes, die je nu in hun geheel kunt horen, terwijl je vroeger vaak maar een gedeelte hoorde. Dat geldt helemaal voor de vele jingles die van bestaande nummers getrokken zijn, want die doen ook mee. En daar heeft onze Ad Bouman destijds ook driftig aan meegedaan!

Aanstaande donderdagavond 24 september van 20:00-22:00 kun je op 192radio luisteren naar deel 1 van het Tunes Project, een 10-delige serie met heel veel tunes die in de jaren 60 gebruikt werden voor diverse programma’s van diverse radiostations. Daarnaast kun je ook nummers horen die gebruikt zijn voor jingles en reclames. Het gaat hier om een herhaling van het eerder op 192radio uitgezonden Tunes Project. Deel 1 behandelt tunes uit de vroege jaren 60.

That may often be your reaction when you hear old tunes once used by various radio stations. In the 1960’s Tunes Project, Frank van Heerde and Kees Brinkerink dive deep and bring to the surface lots of tunes. Yes, dive, for in many cases they present tunes used by the offshore stations of the 60’s!Other music programmes like those on Radio Luxembourg, the Hilversum stations and Radio Noordzee from the REM platform, are also included in the Tunes Project.

Discover all about those old, often very familiar tunes that you can now hear the complete versions of, instead of the fragments you used to hear in the past. That is especially the case with the many jingles that were drawn from existing songs, for those are also included. And our own Ad Bouman played a substantial part in those activities!

 This coming Thursday, September 24th, from 19:00 till 21:00 UK time, on www.192radio.nl you can listen to part 1 of the Tunes Project, a 10-part series with lots of tunes as used by several programs of several radio stations in the 60s. Besides, you can also hear songs that were used for jingles and ads. This will be a rebroadcast of the Tunes Project which was broadcast on 192radio earlier. Part 1 will be about the early 1960’s.
